Plagiarism Policy

The Editoriam Team Journal of Geology & Exploration acknowledges that plagiarism is unacceptable and therefore establishes the following policy stating specific actions (penalties) when plagiarism is identified in an article submitted for publication to Journal of Geology & Exploration

Articles must be original, unpublished, and not pending publication elsewhere. Material taken verbally from other sources needs to be clearly identified so that it differs from the original text. Journal of Geology & Exploration performs a plagiarism checking process using Turnitin. The submitted paper must have a plagiarism checking value below 20%.

If the author is proven to have submitted a manuscript to Journal of Geology & Exploration by simultaneously submitting it to other journals, and this overlap is found during the review process or after publication, the editor has the right not to publish the article.
