Author Guidelines

1. GENERAL GUIDELINES

GENIUS: Journal of Educational Innovation and Learning publishes research articles, literature reviews, and theoretical studies related to innovation in education and learning. Submitted manuscripts must not have been previously published or be under consideration for publication in other journals.

Manuscripts must be prepared in Microsoft Word format (.doc/.docx), written in English or Indonesian, using Calibri font size 11, 1.15 line spacing, and 2.5 cm margins on all sides. Authors must follow the official journal template .

2. MANUSCRIPT STRUCTURE

The manuscript should be organized as follows:

Initial Section:
Title, author(s), affiliation(s), email(s), article history, keywords, abstract.

Main Section:
Introduction, method, results and discussion.

Final Section:
Conclusion, suggestions (optional), acknowledgments (optional), and references.

3. TITLE AND AUTHOR INFORMATION

The title should consist of a maximum of 15 words, written in Title Case, bold, using Calibri font size 14, single spacing.

Author names must be written without academic titles, not abbreviated, and arranged according to contribution. Affiliations must be written in full (Study Program, Faculty, University), and all author emails must be included. The corresponding author should be marked with (*).

4. ABSTRACT

The abstract should briefly describe the objective, method, and results of the study, written in a single paragraph with a maximum of 200 words.

The abstract must be written in two languages:

  • English
  • Indonesian

It should be typed in Calibri font size 11 with single spacing.

Keywords:

  • 3–5 words or phrases
  • Represent the main concepts of the study

5. GENERAL WRITING RULES

Manuscripts must follow these requirements:

  • Calibri font size 11, 1.15 spacing
  • Justified text alignment
  • First-line indentation of 0.75 cm
  • Foreign terms should be written in italic

Headings must be written in uppercase and bold:

  • INTRODUCTION
  • METHOD
  • RESULTS AND DISCUSSION
  • CONCLUSION

Tables and figures must be numbered, clearly labeled, and referenced in the text.

6. REFERENCES

References must be arranged alphabetically and must correspond to citations in the manuscript.

Requirements:

  • Use APA Style 7th Edition
  • Minimum of 15 references
  • Priority should be given to recent journal articles (last 10 years)
  • Reference management tools (Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote) are required

ADDITIONAL NOTES

  • All manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process
  • The editorial team reserves the right to edit the manuscript without changing its substance
  • Accepted articles will be published as open access
  • Authors must strictly follow the journal template
